Teaching Guitar Students
My student Alex had this in his notebook. I have a new friend! 
So, I was at lessons today and my 8 year old student Alex brought his notebook to lessons and it had all this stuff colored in it from him and his little brother (who is 6). I looked through it and there were all kinds of hilarious pictures of the two of them and little things like, “Alex is cool! Austin is awesome” in it. I remember being that age and just loving to write things…. Anyways, so he ended up writing me a note in his lesson book that said something like, “Nat. I practiced the G chord, but C and D chord are hard.”
So I said to him, “Don’t you know how to spell my name?!?!!” Of course, this is where he proceeds to tell me, “Yes I do. Look at this page.” I LOVE my students!
